Mother’s Day Spa Specials – Round 2!

SpaFinder recently surveyed moms, daughters, grandmas, aunts, you name it, across the country about all-things-Mother’s Day, and the results are in – and are truly enlightening! We’re going to throw out a few numbers here, so bear with us:

● Stressed moms! 97 percent of respondents say they are “occasionally” or “frequently” stressed out – the majority (51 percent) that they are FREQUENTLY stressed out

● Experience not things: 93 percent of survey takers would rather receive, or give, an experience than a thing this Mother’s Day

● Top 3 fave ways moms like to de-stress: 1) Go to spa/have a massage, 49 percent; 2) Watch TV/movie/play video games, 16 percent; 3) Read, 15 percent

● Moms overwhelmingly want a “spa day” for Mother’s Day: Moms’ top Mother’s Day gift wishlist for 2012 included – “Spa day,” 80 percent; Meal out at restaurant, 7 percent; Jewelry, 4 percent; Flowers, 4 percent; Clothing/accessories, 3 percent; Beauty products, perfume, 2 percent; electronics, 1 percent
